Slovene violinist Lana Trotovšek plays at Wigmore Hall on 22 July

Renowned Slovene violinist Lana Trotovšek will give a concert at London’s Wigmore Hall with Spanish-Catalan pianist Maria Canyigueral on 22 July at 7.30 pm.

Lana Trotovšek lives in London and is a Professor at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. She plays a 1750 Pietro Antonio dalla Costa violin. Maria Canyigueral is one of the leading lights among the new generation of Spanish pianists. She and Trotovšek won a Gold Medal at the Global Music Awards in California for their joint album in 2016 (Hedone Records).
Lucijan Marija Škerjanc is a Slovene late-Romantic, who composed the work to be played in 1934.
