Christmas Carol Service

By January 9, 2018No Comments

Members of the British-Slovene Society filled the London Church of St. Andrew-by-the-Wardrobe to overflowing for the annual service of Christmas Carols and readings in both languages on Friday 8th December. Aljoša Skorja played the organ and the Gallus Singers led the singing.

Participants contributed a record £325.13 for Barka, the charity in Slovenia for people with special needs that we support.

Afterwards the congregation thronged the vestry for a convivial hour of pre-Christmas socialising. Several people brought special varieties of potica from Slovenia – and the Embassy of Slovenia again generously donated wine.
